Love & Latte Cafe @ Love Lane, Penang

There are still a lot of new cafes to explore in heritage area and recently I visited Love & Latte Cafe with Vanessa. Situated at one of the popular street in heritage, Love Lane and it can be easily found. 

FYI, the cafe's unique selling point goes to my favourite, Nutella !! :D Other than coffees, they serve breakfast, brunch, dessert and cakes with affordable price.

Nutella Latte

It was really smooth and had just the right amount of sweetness. Love it!

I will definitely go back to try the coffee again :D

Signature Nutella Ice Blended

If you'd prefer cold drink, you may order ice blended coffee. It was refreshingly and cream 

blended! Nicely sweet without sickly sweet and not bitter at all. 

Spaghetti Bolognise

Served with marinara sauce and together with meatballs, it was okay but it's way too oily for me.

Still, I would prefer Spaghetti Cabonara if it is available :D

Pizza with Bacon

The cheese was overflowed and turned out oily... The base is quite hard and not satisying for my liking hmmmm. Overall, it's a cozy cafe with nice ambiance that I wouldn't mind spending time here with my favourite ones. They serve really good coffee :)

Wheeler's Coffee @ Love Lane, Penang

Wheeler's Coffee lies in the heart of Georgetown, a cafe that is ideal for friends and family to hang out and enjoy a good coffee in a cozy environment. FYI, it is a new cafe located along Love lane with numbers of hostel for backpackers. Thanks to my friend for bringing me here :D 

 I love the simple decor and bicycle concept in the cafe! There are bicycles available for rent too.

Other than serving coffee, they also serve meals like spaghetti as well as cakes and desserts for quick bites.

Hazelnut Latte & Toffee Nut Latte

Both tastes good but I would prefer a more stronger type coffee.

Penne Arabiatta With Bacon

Arabiatta literally means Angry and mixed with onion, chillies and garlic. Differently, It tastes like Cabonara.. Ya my favourite Cabonara! It turned out great yet creamy and satisfying for my liking. The portion is enough for two sharing also suitable for pasta lover like me :D

 Green Tea Crepe Cake

It is moderately sweet and red beans were inserted between the layers. As a big fan of green tea, I would recommend y'll to try out their mille crepe cakes especially this flavor!

Blueberry Cheese Cake
There are cheese cake available in the cafe too. Their Blueberry Cheese cake was really good!
The texture of cheese is really soft topped with blueberry with a crispy cookie base. Nommm~

Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I'm hoping to try out others in the menu during next visit!

Prices are reasonable here so why don't give it a try? :D

Chong Qing Xiao Chu (重庆小厨) @ Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang

Hi readers~ :D It's been awhile since my last post as I've been busy for couple of weeks and finally there is 

time for me to blog! Back to topic, I paid my first visit to Chong Qing Xiao Chu (重庆小厨) which conveniently located beside Just Food (Food Court) at Gurney Paragon Mall. The lady owner is very friendly and you may ask her to recommend some signature dishes. According to the lady owner, Sichuan dishes is characterized by its heavy flavouring with SPICINESS. The unique feature of Sichuan dishes is 'Ma' which means the feeling of numbness in the mouth. I guess you can imagine the spiciness right?

Special Hot and Sour Sweet Potato Noodles 特色酸辣粉

Hot and sour sweet potato noodle soup is one of the popular chinese noodle in Chong Qing.

It tastes spicy, sour and the noodles are so soft and slippery! Love it !

Chong Qing Spicy Rice Noodles 重庆麻辣米线

As a spicy food lover, I would like to say this dish is really spicy and it's out of my expectation :O

The broth is too spicy to drink without coughing (for me). Overall, it's okay for me but it is just too

 spicy which covers the actual flavor of the other ingredient.

Look forward to coming back here for their Spicy Hot Pot! Overall, the food is authentic and

 the prices are reasonable. If you like spicy, you will like it.

Brew 32 Coffee House @ Jalan Green Hall, Penang

It was a well day spent with my high school besties few weeks ago! It has been awhile since we all met. Like what my bestie, Yan Yun said it was really hard to find time that suits each other as they were busy with college stuffs and assignments especially Jia Yi! Finally we managed to go for a lunch date and catch up with each other after so long.We decided to visit Brew 32 Coffee House which is nearer to town area.

Butterscotch Latte 

I saw alot of people recommend it in foursquare. It is a combination of sweet and also bitter.

Not bad!

The portion is kinda big and the taste is slightly normal comparing to others.

Grilled Pork Burger With Bacon

It is satisfying for my liking and it is really tender as the way I like. It was decent and a pretty good combination together with bacon and BBQ sause.

 Spaghetti Aglio Olio With Bacon

It tastes really spicy than what I imagine and I just can't stop drinking water ...

I would recommend it to those SPICY lover only. Well, the portion is big but still it's too oily and dry for me.

Spaghetti Cabonara

This is definetly my favourite among all! Highly recommended this to ya'll.
